GCDC Doula Expansion Scholarship
The Gulf Coast Doula Coalition is a forthcoming nonprofit servicing Houston and the various communities south of Harris County. We cocreate care-full births through compassionate doula support and prioritize working with historically marginalized groups by offering person-centered, sliding-scale birth services. As such, we emphasize working with these communities: low-income folks, Black birthing people, queer and trans birthing folks, disabled folks, young or teen parents, and the incarcerated. Our mission is to curate beautiful birth stories by expanding access to reproductive care and education to birthing families along the Texas Gulf Coast.
